| 1986 Ferrari 308 GTB kit car built on a 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE. This is one of the nicest examples of this kind of car you will find. The doner car was immaculate, and I have pictures of the build up. The car only has 48,000 miles on the chassis, and it shows. The car does not leak anything, the A/C is ICE COLD, and it runs great! The interior is spotless... It needs nothing! The car is very nice all around. It was only driven on nice days, and has been garage kept for as long as I know. (since 1994 at least) The car was built in the early 1990's. This car features a 2.8 HO V6 engine, and a 4 speed Muncie transmission. It has PW, PL, Performance sound, Cruise, A/C, Electronic deck lid release, and all real Ferrari emblems. This car is very fast, and fun to drive. It has a brand new heater core, and The tires are like new. It has American Racing wheels, and they are in great shape. The car has to be seen to be appreciated... It is truly an eye catcher. People ALWAYS stop to look at it. Ok, here's the issues. (all minor, but I want to be completely up front, and honest) The driver seat is perfect, but the piping is starting to crack where you'd get in, and out of it. The paint is very nice, and shiny, but there are a couple of touch up spots, from chips, or whatever.... all not noticable, unles you're waxing it or something. The front bumper is painted semi gloss black which is correct, but it has a couple spots of touch up on it as well... It might not be a bad idea to re-spray the bumper. It's semi gloss black... You don't need a body shop or anything. That's it.... If I remember, or find anything else, I will post it here, but otherwise the car is MINT! It is a true 48,000 mile car. This car was only driven 1,000 miles in the last 11 years!!!! I have documentation. You will not be dis-appointed! |
